Hold Onto Your Memories       Story

The owner and creator of Hold Onto Your Memories Jennifer Bada remembers the transformation from film to the digital age. Over the years, as a photographer, she always saved every picture, and became known as the archivist. When her grandfather passed away she was lucky enough to discover all of his memories from WWII. This included his photos of the war in France, Germany and England, his medals, his letters, and newspaper clippings. She digitally preserved all of these historical items and compiled this into one spectacular slideshow. Everyone in her family was so excited to see this amazing collection, and have a copy of their own. Now all the memories stored away, came alive and are saved for generations to enjoy.

Jennifer Bada is a native Californian, and she has experienced earthquakes but never anything traumatic until a few years ago. Living in the canyons of California was another story. She was evacuated a few times from her home due to the unforgiving wildfires of southern California. One day she only had about five minutes to leave her home, she was only able to grab a few things, her dogs, a guitar, and her laptop computer which included all her photos that she had digitally preserved. Thankfully after her home was untouched, but others were not so lucky. As she watched the news about the fire, she saw numerous people that lost everything. They always seemed to say the same thing, they wished they didn’t loose their photos, its the one thing they will never be able to get back. These life experiences lead her to create the company HOLD ONTO YOUR MEMORIES
