Testimonial from a Social Worker

As a Social Worker who has worked with the elderly population in a South Florida nursing home and rehabilitation center, I feel it is essential to share photos and bring back memories to the residents. Having worked with many patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, I realized the importance of residents being able to see their family, friends and loved ones. As memory fades so often with age and with several diseases, seeing images that were saved from many years ago and seeing the residents' faces light up when you demonstrate family photos and portraits is invaluable. I can testify that keeping one’s memories active through photos is a wonderful way to recapture the joys and moments in many of the residents’ lives.
